Today I was having one of those moments when I was vacuuming the front room, I realized that I really love seeing the fresh vacuum lines in the carpet. It just looks so clean. Call me crazy, and I know some of you do :) but it was my simple pleasure for the morning! I just love vacuuming. It's Joshua's chore and he doesn't care for it. Actually, he just doesn't like doing chores. Does anyone pay their kids for chores? We never have, just curious.

Leanne, that is the smoothest, freshest looking carpet in the whole wide world. You're right, there is nothing quite as nice as vacuum lines in the carpet. Lovely!
P.S. my word verification word is "cynanzed". Is that when you had to clamp down on the cyanide tablet before they had a chance to torture you?
OK, I also LOVE clean carpet. Actually clean floors in general make my day. Let's just say my day has not been 'made' yet. :)
We don't pay our kids for chores. The have to do chores as a member of the family and they receive allowance as a member of the family, but they aren't linked. [i just have visions of 'but i don't CARE about the money mom, i'm not doing my chores!] No thanks.
What a market there would be for carpet that always looks vacuumed!
